The Nutcracker is a holiday staple for a reason, and LEGO® found a way to bottle that — this little scene lands somewhere between ornament and centerpiece, which is exactly where seasonal sets need to be.
Is the price fair?C+Fair-ish, but you're paying a small seasonal premium for the theme over the parts.
Will you love it?B-Cozy build, charming result — if the Nutcracker means anything to you, it lands.
Holds its value?C+Seasonal sets can move after retirement, but don't plan around it with this one.

The Full Take
Holiday LEGO® sets live or die by shelf presence, and the Ballerina & Nutcracker Scene threads that needle. The build is compact enough to tuck beside a candle or under a tree, but detailed enough that it reads as intentional decor rather than an afterthought. At 244 pieces it's a light afternoon — don't expect a marathon, expect something pleasant. The single minifig is a nice touch without padding the price for characters you didn't need. Where it stumbles is the price point, which sits just a tick above comfortable for what's on the table. Still, as a seasonal gift or a personal tradition-piece, this one delivers on the emotional brief. A solid B — not a trophy, but something you'll be happy you picked up come December.
