A mythical creature on a $40 budget that looks like it spent most of that budget being mythical in name only — 278 pieces and zero shelf presence make this a tough sell at any price.
Is the price fair?C-Overpriced for what shows up in the box — this one stings at retail.
Will you love it?C-Cute concept, forgettable execution — don't expect it to earn a permanent shelf spot.
Holds its value?C-Secondary market on small Creator sets like this rarely climbs; don't bank on appreciation.

The Full Take
Pegasus sounds cool on paper, and LEGO®'s Creator line has pulled off creatures before, but this one doesn't quite stick the landing. The piece count sits low for the price, and the finished model lacks the sculpted drama you'd want from a winged horse. No minifigs to sweeten the deal, no standout build technique to justify the session — it's a mid afternoon of building that leaves you wanting more figure, more detail, more something. The D overall reflects a set that's hard to recommend unless you're specifically completing a collection or catching it on clearance. There are better ways to spend $40 in LEGO®'s current lineup.
