The Land Rover Defender is one of the most iconic shapes in automotive history — and 150 pieces at $14.99 is not enough set to do it justice. The silhouette is recognizable, but this one feels more like a placeholder than a tribute.
Is the price fair?C-Fourteen dollars for 150 pieces of one of the world's most beloved trucks feels like a shortchange.
Will you love it?BThe Defender charm is in there — just buried under a build that needed more room to breathe.
Holds its value?C-Retires quietly, moves quietly — not the kind of licensed-adjacent set that collectors chase.

The Full Take
Land Rover's Defender has a serious fan base, and LEGO® knows it — which makes this small Creator set a bit of a tease. The shape reads as a Defender from a distance, but up close the proportions feel compressed and the details thin. For $14.99 you're getting a snapshot, not a statement. The single minifig adds some life but doesn't save a build that wraps up before it really gets going. It's the kind of set that scratches an itch without fully satisfying it. If you're a Defender die-hard, the itch-scratch might be worth the price — just don't expect it to anchor a shelf.
