The lotus is a beautiful subject, and LEGO®'s botanical trend has produced some stunning sets — this is not one of them. At 220 pieces the build is over before it starts, and the finished model lacks the sculptural weight that makes botanical sets worth displaying. Nothing about the techniques here is going to surprise a builder who's touched a flower polybag before. The color palette is pleasant enough, but pleasant doesn't justify shelf real estate when you're competing with the Orchid or the Succulents. For $14.99 you're not getting robbed, but you're also not getting much — the price and the payoff are both on the low end. A D+ is generous if your benchmark is anything with staying power.
