Gustave Eiffel had a secret apartment at the very top of his tower, and it's a genuinely fascinating piece of history — which makes it kind of painful that this set doesn't do it justice. With 228 pieces and one lonely minifig, the build feels thin and the result doesn't read as a confident shelf piece. The appreciation score of 7.7 is the one bright spot, and it's earned — this was a GWP, so secondary market copies carry a premium. But strong resale potential propped up by scarcity is a different thing from a set worth seeking out for its own sake. If the source material is this good, the execution needed to meet it.
