The Adidas Superstar is one of the most iconic sneakers ever made, so the concept here writes itself. LEGO® captured the shell toe and three stripes well enough that you'll recognize it instantly on a shelf. The problem is the experience surrounding that moment: 92 pieces means a 20-minute build that barely registers. At its price point it's hard to complain too loudly — this isn't meant to be a Statement Set, it's a novelty collectible. The single minifig in Adidas gear is a fun touch and the kind of thing that'll either delight you or feel like filler depending on your taste. If you walked away from the Jordan 1 collab wanting more sneaker LEGO® content, this scratches the itch without fully satisfying it.
