Spider-Man versus Venom and Iron Venom is essentially a minifig pack dressed up as a set, and LEGO® knows it. The brick content is thin — 63 pieces builds almost nothing worth keeping on a shelf — but the character lineup carries serious weight for Marvel fans. Venom and Iron Venom in the same box is a legitimately appealing combination, especially for kids who just want the figures to play with. The price grade tells the real story though: $14.99 for this little plastic is a tough sell when you see what's actually in the bag. It's the kind of set that lives or dies by how badly you want those specific minifigs, and for plenty of buyers, that answer is 'pretty badly.'
