Seventy-seven pieces gets you a small brick-built animal that reads more 'desk trinket' than 'display piece.' The build itself is forgettable — no clever techniques, no wow part, nothing that makes you set down the instructions and think. As a gift it could scrape by, but only just — kids expecting something with play value will move on in under a minute. At the price LEGO® charges for it, the F on value is the only honest call. The C on love is generous; this is seasonal filler, and it grades like it.
