Four Ninjago minifigs for thirteen bucks — this is basically a character pack dressed up as a set, and it works exactly as well as that sounds.
The parts alone are worth about 137% of the street price — the basis for this B- price read.
BargainThe parts alone are worth more than you pay — $29 of parts for $21.
The #40342 Ninjago Minifigure Set is upfront about what it is: a character sampler with 59 pieces and four minifigs doing most of the heavy lifting. For fans deep in the Ninjago universe, landing four figures at this price point is a reasonable deal — but anyone expecting a meaningful build is going to feel the floor drop out fast. The small display stands and accessory bits are filler, not features. It's the kind of set that lives in a gift bag or rounds out a collection rather than anchoring one. Solid B overall, with the honest caveat that the ceiling is exactly as low as the premise suggests.
