Cute, but a shelf needs more than cute — the footprint is too small and the scene too sparse to hold its own among serious display pieces.

The Full Take
Promotional sets tend to phone it in, but this one comes with a working fire truck, police cruiser, and ambulance scene crammed into 85 pieces without feeling cheap. The City Hero theme hits the sweet spot for younger kids — relatable, bright, and instantly playable. One minifig keeps it focused rather than sparse. At the price point these typically land at, it's a legitimate gift pick rather than an afterthought. The build is simple but coherent, and the subject matter has the kind of timeless civic appeal that doesn't date badly. It won't anchor a display shelf or a portfolio, but as a set that does exactly what it promises? Solid A.
