The Full Take
The Build My Heartlake City Accessory Set is a quiet overachiever in the Friends lineup. At $9.99 for 121 pieces it lands firmly in 'grab it without thinking' territory, and the variety of small builds — a hot dog cart, a smoothie stand, scattered little details — gives it a charm that bigger sets sometimes miss. There's no minifig, which stings a little for play value, but the micro-scale builds are tightly conceived and the color palette is peak Friends pastel. It's the kind of supplemental set that fills out a city scene without demanding shelf real estate. The A on price is well-earned; the B on love is honest — it's a companion piece, not a centerpiece. Buy it alongside something bigger and it punches above its weight.
