The Full Take
The Braille Bricks Toolkit exists in a category of its own: a LEGO® product designed not to sit on a shelf or fuel a collection, but to teach blind and visually impaired children how to read through tactile play. Each brick pairs standard LEGO® studs with Braille cell patterns, so the learning happens through building. LEGO® developed this in partnership with organizations for the blind across multiple countries, and the German edition is one of several localized versions — which tells you the commitment here goes beyond a PR gesture. At 50 pieces it's tiny by any conventional measure, but the piece count is beside the point entirely. The A+ overall score reflects what this set actually is: a functional educational tool with genuine purpose, offered at a price that doesn't exploit that purpose. You don't grade this one like a Creator set — you grade it on whether it delivers, and it does.
