The Full Take
This is an employee gift set, which means it was never meant for your shelf — and yet here we are, talking about it. The build leans into LEGO®'s own history in a way that feels curated rather than commercial, which gives it a charm most retail sets can't manufacture. Eight minifigs for an internal release is generous, and the piece count suggests real effort went into making this feel special rather than ceremonial. The price grade stings hard because you're paying a premium just to get your hands on something LEGO® never intended to sell. Love grade lands in the middle — the nostalgia hits if you're a LEGO® devotee, but it doesn't do much for a casual fan. As a display piece it reads well, but the hold grade tells you the secondary market for employee exclusives is unpredictable. A B- overall feels right: meaningful to the right person, overpriced for everyone else.
