Creator 3-in-1 pirate ship sounds like a slam dunk until you do the math — $110 for 1,074 pieces in a theme with stiff competition from sets that do pirates better for less.

Will you love it?C+Solid enough, but 'iconic' is a hard promise and this set only half-keeps it.

The Full Take
LEGO®'s Iconic Pirate Ship arrives with all the right ingredients: a classic theme, five minifigs, and a 3-in-1 format promising replay value. The problem is the word 'iconic' is doing a lot of heavy lifting here. At $109.99, it sits in a crowded pirate space where dedicated Pirate Bay sets and past Icons flagships have set a high bar. The build itself is competent Creator work — functional, recognizable, nothing that'll make a seasoned builder stop and stare. Five minifigs for a $110 set is a reasonable headcount, and kids will absolutely have fun with it, but the magic of pirate LEGO® has always been in the details, and this one plays it safe. A B- feels right: not a mistake, not a must-grab.
