A hummingbird in LEGO® form sounds like a showstopper — but this one lands somewhere between "neat desk trinket" and "forgotten shelf piece." The Creator 3-in-1 gimmick spreads the concept thin, and 312 pieces at $30 is fine without being exciting.
Is the price fair?AFair but flat — nothing about $30 here feels like a deal or a heist.

The Full Take
Hummingbirds are genuinely hard to capture in LEGO® — the iridescence, the frozen mid-hover pose — and this set takes a swing at it with some charm. The 3-in-1 format means you get a dragonfly and a butterfly as alternates, which sounds like a bonus until you realize none of the three builds gets the piece budget it deserves. At 312 pieces for $30, the price sits in a reasonable band but doesn't inspire any urgency. The finished bird reads better in photos than it does in person, where the color blocking feels a little blunt for such a delicate subject. It's not a bad set — it's just one that lives quietly in the middle, easy to pick up, easy to forget.
