A turtle on a lily pad sounds like a LEGO® impulse buy you forget about — until you actually see it sitting on a shelf looking surprisingly composed. Creator 3-in-1 at the entry level usually means compromises, but the design team found something genuinely sweet here. The A- on price is earned: $9.99 for 124 pieces with this kind of character beats most of what sits in the impulse bin. Where it falls short is depth — once it's built, it's built, and the alternate builds at this scale rarely wow.
