Creator 3-in-1 haunted sets always face the same problem: split three ways, none of the builds gets the attention it deserves. The Haunted Mansion lands at a B- because it does enough right — solid minifig count, spooky atmosphere, decent shelf presence in main mode — but $89.99 for 736 pieces feels like you're paying a premium the build doesn't fully justify. The Halloween theme is evergreen enough that it won't collect dust, but it also won't wow anyone who's seen the Haunted House modular or last year's Icons offerings. Where it wins is versatility: a kid can wreck it, rebuild it, swap forms. Where it loses is ambition — nothing here is going to stop a scroll or earn a second look from a fellow adult fan. Middle of the road, which is exactly what a B- means.
