The Full Take
The ocean theme has real charm, and the anglerfish alternate build is probably the most interesting thing in the box — but that's a problem when it's not the main model. The shark build is fine, serviceable, the kind of thing that works on a kid's shelf for a week before it gets disassembled. At $34.99 Creator sets have to work harder than this, and the piece count doesn't justify the ask. The minifigs are filler. There's no standout technique, no moment in the build where the instructions surprise you. It's a C set in a theme that has produced genuine standouts — which makes it easy to skip unless it hits a deep discount.
