A 3-in-1 Creator truck that does three things and none of them particularly well — the Rocket Truck is fine, but fine doesn't justify twenty bucks in 2020.
The parts alone are worth about 87% of the street price — the basis for this C+ price read.
FairParts are worth about 87% of the price — close to what the set is worth.
The Creator 3-in-1 line has some genuine standouts, and this isn't one of them. The Rocket Truck clocks in at 198 pieces with three build options — a truck, a rocket launcher, and a jet — but none of the three feel like a satisfying destination. The builds are simple even by Creator standards, and the lack of any minifig means kids have nothing to anchor the play to. At $19.99 it's not a disaster, but it's also not a deal when better Creator sets exist at the same price. The shelf presence is modest at best. There's nothing wrong with it, exactly — it's just a set that doesn't stick.
