The Modular Winter Vacation is a Creator 3-in-1 that leans hard into cozy winter vibes — ski lodge, snowmobile, frozen pond — and the seasonal charm is real. None of the three builds are large enough to feel truly satisfying on their own, which is the classic 3-in-1 tradeoff: flexibility at the cost of depth. The minifig count is fine, the parts selection is functional, and the color palette sells the winter mood without overselling it. Where this falls apart is the ask: $34.99 for this part count was a stretch at launch, and the secondary market hasn't done much to rehabilitate that. It's the kind of set you enjoy building on a cold afternoon and then quietly wonder if you overpaid. A solid C+ — likable, not lovable, and priced just a shade too confidently.
