Modular Sweet Surprises is one of those Creator 3-in-1s where the concept does more heavy lifting than the execution. The candy shop, ice cream stand, and cupcake bakery are all genuinely cute builds — colorful, cheerful, and cohesive in that sugary way LEGO® does well when it leans into a theme. But 396 pieces at $40 means you're paying a premium for vibes, and the vibes, while good, aren't premium-level good. The minifigs are fine filler, the builds are small enough that none of the three feel fully realized, and the modular gimmick loses some magic when each mode fits in your hand. It's a B- for enjoyment — kids and fans of pastel LEGO® will have a good time — but the price grade is a flat F, and that's the number that stings on the shelf at retail.
