Creator three-in-ones live and die by the quality of their alternate builds, and Mythical Creatures at least picks a fun sandbox: griffin, sea serpent, winged beast. None of the three are showstoppers, but the griffin is solid enough to hold its shape on a shelf without screaming "budget set." The build itself is light — 223 pieces means sessions are short and techniques stay surface-level. For $14.99 at retail, though, it's hard to argue the price was wrong.
