A polybag birthday set sounds like a slam dunk, but 60 pieces and no minifig makes the party feel a little thin — cute concept, middling execution.
Is the price fair?B+Polybag prices should feel like a no-brainer; this one requires a little convincing.
Will you love it?B-Charming idea, but the actual build leaves you wishing there was more to it.
Holds its value?C-Polybags rarely move the needle for investors, and nothing here changes that pattern.

The Full Take
Birthday Party Animals leans into a universally relatable occasion, which is genuinely its strongest card. Three small animal builds in party hats have the right energy for a gift-bag insert or a last-minute checkout-lane grab. The problem is the price-to-payoff gap: at polybag pricing you expect a tight little gem, and this one feels stretched across too few interesting parts to really land. No minifig means no focal character — just accessories floating around without a host. The builds themselves are simple enough that even younger kids will be done in ten minutes, which is fine for the format but underwhelming for anyone hoping to keep it on a shelf. A C is fair — it clears the bar without clearing it by much.
