Polybag X-wings exist in a strange LEGO® purgatory: too small to display with any conviction, too quick to build to satisfy a builder, and too sparse to keep a kid engaged past the first afternoon. At 87 pieces and zero minifigs, there's nothing to anchor the experience — no pilot, no detail that makes you stop and look twice. The best thing on paper is a B- hold grade, which sounds more promising than it is; plenty of polybags appreciate modestly just by disappearing from shelves, not because of anything special about the set itself. The X-wing nameplate does some heavy lifting, but the model underneath it earns a D for good reason. Unless you're completing a polybag run or caught it free with a purchase, this one's hard to defend.
