The Guardians' Ship polybag lands at a fair price for 2018, and that's the nicest thing to say about it. Sixty-nine pieces gets you a small brick-built vessel that looks recognizable enough on the box but underwhelming in hand. There are no minifigures, which for a team-driven IP like Guardians of the Galaxy is a real miss — the whole draw is the crew, not the craft. The build itself takes maybe ten minutes, and not the satisfying kind. It's the sort of polybag that exists to fill a checkout lane, not a display shelf. A C- overall feels generous once you're holding the finished model.
