The Full Take
The Green Ninja Mech Dragon showed up in 2017 riding the LEGO® Ninjago Movie hype, but the excitement stops at the box art. Sixty pieces get you a small dragon build that feels closer to a Happy Meal toy than a shelf piece, and there's not a single minifig to anchor the scene. The build itself is fine for what it is — a quick snap-together in the movie's style — but 'fine for what it is' shouldn't cost what this did. No clever techniques, no display payoff, nothing that lingers after the fifteen-minute build. It bottomed out across almost every category we score, and the C- on value retention is the lone grace note — polybag-adjacent sets sometimes hold quietly, but don't build a story around that. This one is a skip dressed up in green scales.
