The Full Take
The Hot Rod is the kind of set that exists because a product line needed SKU padding. Thirty-eight pieces assemble into a car that's barely distinguishable from a dozen other City polybags, and the single minifig does nothing to elevate it. The build is over in minutes and leaves zero impression — no clever parts usage, no standout color blocking, nothing worth the counter space. At a polybag price it's tolerable, but that's the lowest possible bar. This one is for completionists only, and even they might hesitate.
