The Full Take
Alan Grant is one of the most iconic characters in Jurassic Park history, and LEGO® tucked him into a polybag that most people will walk past without a second look — which is exactly why it's worth grabbing. The hovercraft is simple, sure, but it gives the minifig a little world to live in rather than just floating on a stand. At this price point, the set doesn't need to impress on build complexity or shelf drama — it just needs to deliver the character, and it does. The B on love is fair: it's a fun little piece but not something that demands a permanent place in your collection unless you're deep into Jurassic World. Value retention is modest, same story — polybags with strong character attachment can move after retirement, but don't count on it. What this set does best is make Alan Grant accessible to anyone who ever wanted him in minifig form without hunting the secondary market. Call it a small win packaged in a small bag.
