The Creator Spider is one of those sets that makes you wonder who signed off on the pricing. Forty pieces is a quick afternoon build at best, and the finished model lacks the shelf weight to make up for what the build experience doesn't deliver. There's no minifig, no clever centerpiece technique, nothing that makes you stop mid-build and appreciate the design. As a standalone purchase it's hard to recommend — the theme has done far more interesting things at comparable or lower price points. The C- hold grade is probably the kindest thing you can say about it: it won't crater, but it won't reward patience either. If a spider is what you need for a scene or a MOC part-out, fine — but as a set, this one doesn't clear the bar.
