The Hubble is one of humanity's greatest achievements — this set is a $140 reminder that LEGO® doesn't always rise to the occasion. Thirteen hundred pieces and it still feels like it's costing you more than it's giving back.

The Full Take
Hubble deserves a landmark set. What we got instead is a competent but uninspiring model that struggles to justify its price tag. The piece count sounds substantial until you're holding a finished build that doesn't quite command the shelf presence you'd expect from a $140 Icons release. It's not offensive — the shape reads as Hubble, the solar panels are recognizable — but nothing about the build experience or the finished model makes you feel like you've built something special. For a telescope that literally changed how humans see the universe, this set is curiously forgettable. C- is the grade, and it's not close.
