Team Spidey slapping a pirate theme onto a Marvel set is exactly the kind of weird creative swing that either works or makes you tilt your head sideways. At 201 pieces for fifty bucks, the price is the elephant in the room — this is firmly preschool territory and the build reflects it. Four minifigs give younger kids a roster to play with, and the ship itself has enough swooshable charm to make a five-year-old's afternoon. But if you're past the target age bracket, there's not much here holding your attention. The theme-mashing is fun in theory; the execution is modest. Wait for a sale and this becomes a much easier yes.
