The Full Take
The concept is legitimately cool: one of history's greatest minds rendered in LEGO®, complete with his ornithopter dream. But 493 pieces at $49.99 sits in an uncomfortable middle ground — not quite substantial enough to feel premium, not affordable enough to be an impulse buy. The build itself is pleasant without being memorable, leaning on the historical novelty to carry weight the techniques don't quite earn. Shelf presence is decent but fragile-looking, the kind of model that photographs better than it displays. One minifig for this price point is a tough sell no matter how you frame it.
