The Shelby Cobra 427 S/C is a legitimate icon — low, mean, and all curves — and LEGO®'s version captures that silhouette well enough to earn a second look on any shelf. The build runs 1248 pieces, which sounds substantial, but seasoned builders may find the experience thinner than the box art promises. There are clever moments in the bodywork shaping, but it doesn't quite reach the technique density of the best Icons car sets. The real friction is the price: $159.99 is a lot to ask when comparable cars in this line have delivered more build satisfaction for less. That said, the subject matter carries serious weight — Shelby fans will want this regardless, and the finished model has genuine display presence.
