The Bouquet of Roses does one thing extremely well: it looks like actual roses, and that's harder to pull off in plastic than it sounds. The color work, the petal layering, the stem curves — LEGO®'s botanical line keeps finding ways to make you forget you're looking at ABS. The problem is $59.99 sits in uncomfortable territory for a set with zero minifigs and a single-purpose display life. It's not a bad set, it's an overpriced one, and that gap is hard to ignore when you're standing at the shelf deciding.
