The Full Take
The Alpine Lodge nails the vibe: snow-capped roof, warm wood tones, a working ski rack outside. It looks right on a shelf, and the five minifigs give it life. But at $100 for 1517 pieces, LEGO® is asking a lot for what is, at its core, a cozy-but-conservative build — no showstopper techniques, no jaw-dropping interior detail, nothing that makes you stop mid-build and take a photo. The C+ overall says it all: this is a competent, likable set that charges a premium it hasn't fully earned. If you catch it on sale, the calculus flips — but at full MSRP, you're paying for the brand name as much as the bricks.
