The Full Take
The C8 Corvette is one of the most recognizable shapes in American automotive history, and LEGO®'s Icons take on it captures the low, wide stance pretty well from across the room. Up close, though, the compromises start to show — curved body panels are tricky at this scale and the result is more 'close enough' than 'jaw-dropping.' At $149.99 with no minifigs, the set leans entirely on its display merit, and that's a risky bet when the build doesn't throw any particularly memorable techniques at you. The 1,210 pieces feel right for the footprint, but nothing in the bag-by-bag experience is going to stop you mid-build to take a photo. Secondary market history on Icons vehicles is mixed at best — some climb, most drift. Buy this because you love the C8, not because you love the set.
