The Land Rover Defender 90 is one of those sets where LEGO® clearly cared about getting it right — the proportions are sharp, the detail work on the body panels is serious, and the whole thing looks like it belongs in a design museum. But 2344 pieces at $240 with no figures and no interior playability is a hard sell to anyone who isn't already emotionally invested in the Defender nameplate. The build experience is the real draw here: long, technical, satisfying in the way that a good afternoon project should be. On the shelf it holds its own against Creator Expert cars that cost similar money, and the color and form factor give it real presence. The F on price isn't a misprint — this sits at the edge of what the Icons line can credibly charge without a license to lean on. If the Defender means something to you personally, that gap closes fast. If it doesn't, $240 buys a lot of other things.
