Six minifigs in a $99 holiday set — LEGO® doesn't usually give you that kind of cast for this price. Holiday Main Street is the rare Icons release where the value is sitting right in front of you, not buried in the build.
Is the price fair?A+One of the most straightforward value propositions in the Icons lineup — $99 for this much set is rare.
Will you love it?B-Warm, complete, and genuinely fun to put up every December.
Holds its value?BSolid but not spectacular — seasonal Icons sets move, they don't moon.
The Full Take
Holiday Main Street nails the brief: a full downtown block dressed for winter, priced at a point where it doesn't feel like a seasonal tax on your wallet. The six-minifig roster is unusually generous for this tier, and the three-building layout gives you real street presence on a shelf or mantel. The build itself runs through enough varied techniques to stay interesting across an afternoon without ever demanding anything from you. Where it stumbles is in the sheer density of what you're getting — 1516 pieces across three storefronts sounds like a lot until you realize each building is fairly shallow and the interiors are dressed rather than designed. Still, as a seasonal centerpiece that works in a display cabinet or under a tree, it lands. The A- overall is a fair verdict: not the deepest set LEGO® has ever made, but one of the better seasonal purchases in recent memory.
