The Pickup Truck is one of those sets that looks better in photos than it feels in your hands at the register. LEGO® captured the classic American pickup silhouette well — the proportions are solid, the chrome detailing reads clean on a shelf, and it has real display presence for automotive fans. But 1678 pieces at $129.99 with no minifigs means you're paying a premium for a build that competes with sets offering far more. The build experience has some satisfying moments, especially around the body work and bed, but it doesn't push the envelope technically the way an Icons set at this price probably should.
