The T2 Camper Van is a love letter to the hippie van in plastic form — but LEGO® charged premium-vehicle money for a set that competes with itself on the discount shelf constantly.
Is the price fair?FLEGO® wanted full price for a set that discounts fast — the F is earned.
Will you love it?C+The charm is real, but the price and no-minifig situation keep it squarely average.
Holds its value?B-Slow to appreciate, steady enough to not crater — a cautious B-.

The Full Take
Few LEGO® sets nail a cultural icon this well: the rounded body, the fold-out interior, the liftable roof — this is a genuinely charming build that rewards every hour you put into it. The problem is that $179.99 was a tough ask at launch and it hasn't gotten easier to swallow over time. With zero minifigs, the only payoff is the model itself, which means the set lives or dies on shelf presence alone — and it does look great, to be fair. The build experience has some satisfying moments, especially the curved bodywork techniques, though 2207 pieces of repetitive shaping can wear on you. Secondary market pricing has been sluggish, so this was always a buy-it-because-you-love-it set rather than a strategic one. If you're a VW fan or a Icons collector, it hits differently than the grade suggests. Everyone else should wait for a sale.
