Few LEGO® sets nail the cozy corner-of-a-city feeling the way the Bookshop does. The modular layout plays well with other Creator Expert street builds, and the facades — bookshop below, apartments above — have enough texture and color variation to hold your eye. Inside each floor there's a surprising amount of care: tiny furniture, a spiral staircase, shelves that actually read as shelves. The D+ on price is real; $199.99 for this piece count puts it on the steeper side of the modular lineup. But the build is a genuine weekend project, not a quick assembly, and it shows in the result. This is the set you buy because you want it on the shelf, and it does not disappoint once it's there.
