Few LEGO® sets reward slow building the way the Bookshop does — at 2504 pieces, the process itself is the point, layering a detailed facade and a surprisingly rich interior room by room. The modular format means it slots cleanly into an existing city layout or stands alone as a centerpiece, and the street-level detail holds up under close inspection. Where it stumbles is in what you actually get beyond the build: five minifigs for a set this size is fine but forgettable, and the accessories feel light relative to the price. That said, $199.99 for this much build time and this much shelf presence is a fair deal by any measure. The secondary market has been kind to it, which suggests the broader collector community agrees. A B feels right — this is a great set with one or two things missing to make it truly special.
