The Aston Martin DB5 is one of those sets where the license does the heavy lifting — and LEGO® let it. Ejector seat, revolving number plates, working gadgets: this is a love letter to Goldfinger built in ABS plastic.
Is the price fair?AFair for a licensed Creator Expert at launch — and the aftermarket has only reinforced it.
Will you love it?BThe gadgets and the silhouette are the draw; the thin interior is the caveat.

The Full Take
Few licensed sets nail the source material this cleanly. The DB5 captures the silhouette well enough to stop people in their tracks, and the functional gadgets — rotating number plates, ejector seat, hidden machine guns — are the kind of details that make you grin like you're watching the film for the first time. For a 1297-piece Creator Expert set, $150 was a fair ask at launch, and the market has agreed. The weakest part is the interior: sparse enough that you notice the gap between how good the outside looks and how bare it is inside. Still, as a shelf piece built around one of cinema's most iconic cars, it punches well above its weight.
