The Full Take
Few cars carry the cultural weight of the Aston Martin DB5, and LEGO® leaned into that legacy hard with this Creator Expert build. The proportions are solid, the silver finish reads well on a shelf, and the hidden gadgets — ejector seat, revolving number plates — are genuinely charming easter eggs for Bond fans. That said, the interior detail doesn't quite match the exterior promise, and the build itself is competent more than it is inspired. The price point was always the sticking point: $150 at launch felt steep for what's here, and the secondary market hasn't moved dramatically enough to vindicate that tag. It's a set for Bond devotees first and LEGO® fans second — if that's you, the shelf presence alone carries it.
